Intermediate Care Facility:Buehler House/Shore Homes East is a licensed 12-bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF-DD) located in Evanston, which provides 24-hour staff supervision. The goal is to provide an environment as similar as possible to everyday life in mainstream society. Residents are encouraged to interact within the community and to become less dependent on others.
