Center for Independence provides motor training programs based on the principles of Conductive Education for children with physical disabilities. Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Conductive Education Teachers work with parents and their babies in a family-friendly environment. The focus is on parent education, family support, and helping babies reach developmental milestones. This program is for premature infants, full-term infants with low-tone, and infants who had extended NICU stays. This program's philosophy is that the earlier therapy is started, the sooner the baby will meet developmental milestones.
