Eligibility
Open to veterans, or to the spouse of a veteran, that meets income guidelines, housing status must be in one of the following categories: reside in housing and lack the ability to pay all bills, currently homeless, has left permanent housing within the past 90 days to seek other housing that better meets the family's needs or preferences
Required documents
At the time of intake, if possible, bring valid ID, verification of income (SSI award letter, paycheck stub, etc.), Social Security card, DD 214, birth certificate These documents are not required for entry into the program, they can be ordered/obtained at any time, proof of residency in Champaign County

Special Programs

Provides Emergency Housing, Rapid Rehousing, and Homeless Prevention services to eligible veterans and their families. Temporary financial assistance, navigation, case management, and connection to other appropriate services and programs will be provided by a supportive team.
