Application process
Request to Drop-off:
- Call or walk-in
- Fill out the "Furniture Pickup Request Form" online at: https://www.chicagofurniturebank.org/pickups.
- Once completed, please send photos of the items directly to [email protected] and reference which pickup request they are attached to.
- You will be contacted once form is received to schedule an appointment within 1-2 business days.
Fees
Suggested donation for pick-ups only (to help cover the cost of the truck and labor):
- Easy ($100-$150): 1 large item + a few small items
- Medium ($150-$200): 2-3 large items
- Hard ($200-$250): 4-5 large items
- Extra Hard ($250-$350): 6-7 larger items
- Full Estate/Multi-Room ($400-$600): 8 or more large items

Accepts furniture donations from individuals in the community. Distributes items to individuals in need for free.
Notes:
All pickups must be scheduled at least one week in advance. There is a suggested donation for pick-up service. All drop-offs require an initial call to ensure a quick unloading of items.
This program does not provide free furniture directly to the public; must be referred by a caseworker to qualify.
