Eligibility
Must be admitted or enrolled in an undergraduate degree-seeking program or certificate program at a US-accredited college or university and enrolled for at least 6 credit hours; Must not have been awarded a scholarship from Latinos Progresando previously; Must be experiencing financial need; Must be of Be of Latino and/or immigrant descent; Must demonstrate commitment to community service; Must be a resident of Cook County

Providing organization
Latinos Progresando
Latinos Progresando (LP) serves the community of South Lawndale (including Little Village and Marshall Square) and its surrounding neighborhoods. They provide comprehensive and affordable immigration legal services to immigrants of Latino descent, including free legal support for immigrants surviving domestic violence and sexual assault. LP convenes the Marshall Square Resource Network coalition and runs Teatro Americano, a local theater ensemble and arts education program. LP also provides the Miller-Perez Family Scholarship Fund annually for young Latino and/or undocumented students.
