Eligibility
  • Camping: Renters must be an adult ages 18 or older to obtain a permit
Canoeing and Kayaking: Must be ages 12 or older to launch a personal canoe or kayak at Monee Reservoir, Youth ages 17 or younger must be accompanied by an adult, Individuals renting canoes or kayaks must be ages 18 or older
  • Dog Parks: Open to anyone
  • Picnicking: Must be an adult ages 18 or older to obtain a permit
  • Sledding and Snowshoeing: Must be an adult ages 18 or older to rent an inner tube
Required documents
  • Camping Gear Rental Packages: Valid credit card, Photo ID, Completed rental agreement at the time of pickup
  • Dog Parks: Current rabies tag number and expiration date for all dogs
  • Sledding and Snowshoeing Rental: Photo ID

Fees
  • Many activities are free. Some fees are required for permits or rentals, Contact for more information
  • Boating: Anchor, canoe, kayak, pedal boat, rowboat, and trolling motor and/or battery rental fees vary. Contact for more information
  • Camping: Will County Resident: $20 per night, Non-Will County Resident: $40 per night, 50% discount offered to youth group organizations, Camping gear rental packages available for $20 per night. Must be rented in conjunction with a camping permit and requires a reservation
  • Canoe and Kayaking: $20 deposit per boat rental, $15 for 30 minutes or $30 for half a day, $20 late return fee
  • Dog Parks: Fees vary depending on permit type, $2 service fee for online permit sales, Contact for more information-
