Inner Voice, Inc. supports socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in their pursuit of self-reliance and finding a home. They also assist individuals and families, including returning citizens and veterans, in quickly securing permanent housing, establishing an income, and, when possible, finding employment that pays a living wage.This agency also refers eligible clients in need of home furniture to the Chicago Furniture Bank (CFB), which does not accept walk-ins or calls for furniture requests. People requesting furniture can contact Inner Voice Chicago staff to discuss their needs. The staff will evaluate the client's situation and schedule an appointment accordingly.
