Eligibility
Referred from the Adult Probation and Social Service Departments of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the DuPage County Circuit Court and its Probation Department. Others are referred through such sources as: courts in surrounding suburban communities; child welfare agencies including DCFS; social service agencies; private practitioners; and attorneys.

The Beliefs & Skills program offers a comprehensive curriculum developed in consultation with victim services agency partners. Following a strengths-based, trauma-informed individualized assessment that includes identifying the need for collateral services, participants complete an orientation and are then placed in an intervention group, which meets for a minimum of 24 consecutive weeks.
