Maintains official real estate documents including mortgages, deeds, contracts, assignments, releases, plats, surveys, and easements, as well as state and federal tax liens. Records and preserves articles of incorporation, partnership agreements, military records for tax exemptions, and vital records such as birth, death, divorce, and marriage certificates. Provides licensing services for fishing, ATVs, boats, and snowmobiles and operates as a passport acceptance facility with photo services. 

Administers licensing, certification, and accreditation processes for business and professional entities by reviewing applications, issuing necessary permits or certificates, and ensuring compliance with established regulatory standards.
