In order to be eligible, you must be 18 years old or older, a resident of Cook County, and an individual who identifies as BIPOC and LGBTQ+.

In partnership with Khessed wellness, Black Alphabet provides mental health therapy accessible for LGBTQ+ BIPOC folx in Chicago. Each participant will receive 6 free sessions. Upon completion of the program, participants have the option to continue services through other ongoing affordable or free programs.

Black Alphabet is committed to giving the Black LGBTQ+ community a voice through the arts and media. They provide 1 on 1 therapy for LGBTQ+ BIPOC folx as well as group art therapy classes. They also host the annual Black Alphabet Film Festival which showcases films telling the unique stories of the Black LGBTQ/SGL+ community.
