Application process
Call to set up an assessment for services, after assessment is complete, therapist will submit an authorization request for services to the child’s Medicaid provider, once authorization of services is granted, the BHIS provider will come to your home to meet for individual and family sessions based upon the BHIS treatment plan

Offers Behavioral Health Intervention Service (BHIS) to children and their family who have a mental health diagnosis. BHIS services are designed to be the behavioral complement to therapy services. BHIS addresses skill deficits that, if improved upon, will increase the person’s ability to function successfully at home and in the community. These skills can include, but are not limited to: social skills, communication skills, decision making skills, anger management and coping skills.
