Be first-generation college student, be at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level or demonstrate a need for academic support (have a learning or physical disability evidencing academic need), be enrolled at DeKalb High School, be a US Citizen or permanent resident, be committed to attending a college or university immediately after high school.

  • Academic and college preparatory workshops.
  • Tutoring and homework help sessions.
  • Academic advising.
  • Individual assistance with the college admissions and financial aid process.
  • Six-week academic summer program on the Kishwaukee College campus.
  • Summer Bridge Program.- Other services that provide support, motivation, and academic preparation necessary to go to college.
