Center for Independence offers the Preschool - Kindergarten Conductive Education program, which provides motor training programs based on the principles of Conductive Education for children with physical disabilities. Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Conductive Education Teachers work with the participant to develop skills that lead to more independence at home and at school. This program focuses on improved walking, sitting, eating, and toileting with an emphasis on social skills and school reading. This program meets 3 mornings a week for 2.5 hours."
