Children and families who have open cases with DCFS, including Child Placement and Child Reunification. Individuals and families may be currently experiencing emotional, behavioral, social, parenting, or mental health issues that negatively impact family functioning.

One Hope United DCFS Counseling Services uses a strengths-based approach to address the issues for which the client was referred. These issues may include improving coping, parenting, and communication skills in families involved with DCFS. Staff members at One Hope United encourage families to identify and resolve problems by leveraging their internal strengths and utilizing available support systems within their communities.
