Provides prepared meals. The Ministry is open to all individuals who want a meal or who wants to take a meal to someone in need. 

Provides weekly backpacks of non-perishable food items to students during the school year, delivered directly to their homes. During the summer, students are provided monthly boxes of fresh produce and food for meals. Also, provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.

Provides free groceries to any family in need. Grocery giveaway is only offered twice a month. 

Prepares and serves an average of 250 sack lunches each weekday, provided free of charge to anyone who requests one.

Served at the SSVP District Office at 1715 Izard Street.

Provides literacy and educational support, mental health services, and referrals to other agencies as needed. Also offers adult education classes (such as ESL, literacy, and GED) that increase self-sufficiency for parents.

Works to address the holistic needs of each child through:

- A safe environment with caring adult mentors.

- Healthy meals and bags of weekend food.

- A hands-on curriculum with a focus on reading, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and classroom readiness.

- Partnerships with other agencies to ensure families’ basic needs are met.

- Basic swimming and water safety skills through swimming lessons.

- Behavioral health services and skill building groups.

- Leadership and workforce development opportunities for teen alumni.

- Outdoor learning through the Nature Explore Classroom and gardening clubs.
