Advocates will provide emotional support and information during the medical and criminal justice procedures to sexual assault survivors, non-offending impacted individuals, and non-offending family members. Medical advocates provide 24-hour support to survivors. Legal advocates provide support through police and court proceedings.

Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE) provides free legal services for survivors of sexual assault, sexual stalking, and sex trafficking with any background or identity who were harmed in Cook County, IL, and are aged 13+. The attorneys assist survivors in criminal and civil matters.CAASE cannot accept cases involving criminal defense, divorce, custody, property in common or other family court issues, immigration, or cases that involve survivors who do not want to participate in a legal process, even if they are minors. If CAASE can't assist you, they will try to connect you to another attorney and support resources.

Whenever a survivor presents at the hospital for treatment, the hospital calls the hotline, and an advocate is sent out to sit with the survivor.
