La Clinica De La Esperanza provides comprehensive medical services in the areas of adult, pediatric, and women's health. The clinic offers educational classes in Spanish, led by a registered nurse, on various health-related topics such as prenatal care, breastfeeding, family planning, nutrition, and diabetes.
Pregnancy testing services are available to help individuals determine pregnancy status. General immunizations are provided to protect the community from preventable diseases, with a focus on vulnerable populations such as newborns, young children, individuals who could become pregnant, older adults, and travelers. Additionally, an on-site social worker is available to clinic patients for therapy in a clinical setting.

Provides information and services related to health and wellness topics, including heart health, cholesterol, blood pressure screening, smoking cessation, diabetes, obesity, and physical activity. Offers blood pressure screenings to identify individuals at risk for hypertension-related conditions, cholesterol and triglycerides tests to assess cardiovascular health, and hypoglycemia screenings to detect blood sugar deficiencies. Additionally, provides diabetes management support, including education on self-management skills, dietary planning, exercise, and prevention of complications. Health education presentations are also available for local schools.
Provides health maintenance visits, disease prevention, Public Health Preparedness, health education in the home and community, New Mom/New Baby visits, reportable disease follow up, communicable disease control, and immunizations.
Provides education to increase the public’s awareness and knowledge of various life skills which improve health outcomes and prevent the spread of infectious diseases. This program provides preschool children through the adult population education which emphasizes health concerns appropriate to the age of the audience.

Responds to public information needs or issues related to health and safety. Works collaboratively with other community entities to formulate responses to issues impacting public health.
Major program areas include:
- CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM: Promotes activities that encourage healthy living, embrace health screenings for early detection of disease, and encourage self-management of existing diseases. Works to reduce chronic diseases among racial/ethnic minorities and other vulnerable residents. Activities include community education on topics like reducing childhood obesity, increasing physical activity and healthy eating habits, diabetes prevention or control, learning to manage chronic health problems, and colorectal cancer awareness.
- INJURY PREVENTION and SAFE KIDS: Coordinates activities directed at reducing unintentional injuries and death. Print material, videos, and presentations are available on bike and pedestrian safety, fall prevention, child passenger safety/occupant restraints, and home safety. - TOBACCO PREVENTION AND CONTROL: Provides tobacco prevention information/education to schools, businesses and the community, and cessation referrals.
