Offers WIC (Women Infants, & Children) a supplemental nutrition program for babies, children under the age of 5, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and women who have had a baby in the last 6 months. Provides a food assistance program for women, infants, and children designed to promote staying healthy. Programs include nutrition assessment and counseling, weight monitoring, iron testing, breastfeeding education and support. 

Supplemental nutrition program that provides nutrition education and food instruments (coupons) to women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum; infants ages newborn to 1 year; and children ages 1 to 5. Coupons may be redeemed for milk, cheese, juice, cereal, and eggs, and formula is provided for the non-breast-feeding mom.

During the summer months, farmers market vouchers are offered.

Breastfeeding peer counselors are available.

Provides general medical care services. Including blood pressure screenings, breastfeeding peer counseling, car safety seat program, child and adult immunizations, developmental screenings, family case management, health screenings, Illinois tobacco-free communities' program, lead poisoning prevention program, WIC program, lice education, nutrition education, pregnancy testing, TB screenings and tests, vision and hearing screenings, and the women's health clinic. 

Adult immunization clinic including vaccines for immigration, work, and/or school. (Call for an appointment and for current fees.)

Vaccine program for children up to 18 years of age.

WIC nutritional program provides supplemental food.

Breastfeeding information and education.

Environmental health safety and surety - air, food, and water inspection and contamination issues (complaints and questions). Natural and infectious disease information, such as West Nile virus, insect bites, etc.

Emergency preparedness and response for bioterrorism threats (chemical, biological, and nuclear), mass immunization clinics, strategic national stockpile, volunteer opportunities.

Public health information.

Supplemental food and nutritional counseling service for pregnant and nursing women, and their children who show nutritional and financial need. All participants receive nutrition education and counseling, supplemental foods, and information about other health services based on assessment findings.
