Orland Township Crashy's Closet aims to provide food and supplies for pets whose families are experiencing financial difficulty. Patrons may receive dog and cat food, kitty litter, pet treats, pet shampoo, toys, collars, leashes, and other miscellaneous pet-related items while supplies last.

Items rotate monthly depending on availability, but the food is always included to provide a reliable source of pet food for senior owners.

Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois delivers meals to older adults, individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, Veterans, and others unable to prepare their own food. They provide short-term services to help during a medical situation like recovering after surgery, or long-term services to support a healthy life.They also provide free dog and cat food on a monthly basis to more than 450 pets owned by clients. Pets get the food they need and clients, many of whom are socially isolated, benefit from interaction with pet-loving volunteers. Additionally, cat litter, new or gently used collars, leashes, bedding, toys, scratching posts, etc. may also be available while supplies last.
