Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) works with the Midwest Adoption Center (MAC) to help individuals make appropriate connections to support their adoption search. Confidential Intermediary Services of Illinois is one of the options administered by the Midwest Adoption Center to assist in the search process. A confidential intermediary has access to information from the court, the adoption agency, and birth/death/marriage/divorce files.

Advocacy for children who are abused, neglected and dependent in the DuPage County court system. Community volunteers are appointed by the Juvenile Court Judge to be Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for the children.
