The youth members learn leadership skills and use them to connect with the community and policy makers. They participate in education for community members about the needs of youth and the contributions that youth can make to the community. They advocate for needed changes in laws with elected officials and they advise on the activities of the Youth Coalition. This program also bridges the gap between younger and older generations, creating a healthier community for all.
