Provides counseling and advocacy to victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving. Also provides information about the judicial process, individual and family support. 

HOTLINE is answered 24 hours a day during business hours and an answering service night and weekends. Victim advocates are on call 24 hours a day via a pager system. In many cases victims are referred back to MADD Chapters in their community or MADD state offices. Local number reaches an answering machine with advocate response to victims within 24 hours. The victim advocate at the national office will handle the case if appropriate or if no local chapter is available. Injured persons and supporters as well as those for survivors dealing with the death of a loved one through the actions of a drunken driver.

Advocates for victims' rights, provides emotional support for victims and their families, and assists victims through the criminal court process. Victim support. Public education and awareness (school speakers, health fairs, country fairs, town hall meetings). Volunteers monitor court cases. Partners with law enforcement agencies to ensure life-saving laws can be enforced at the local level. Power of Parents works with parents to learn how to initiate conversation with kids about alcohol and drug use. Power of Youth talks to middle and high school students about the power they have to resist alcohol and drugs.
