Chicago Park District offers a 6-week long summer day camp where youth can engage in sports, arts, fitness, and outdoor activities. Ideas of civic engagement, environmental awareness, inclusion, collaboration & team building, brain play, reflection & journaling, and friendship & kindness are woven into the camp experience. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Online registration begins April 15 & 16. Camp runs June 24 - August 2.

Chicago Veterans' Women Veterans Program creates spaces where women veterans can connect, build friendships, and feel supported by others who understand their experiences. Through events such as spa days, sunset boat cruises, wine and mocktail tastings, karaoke nights, vision board parties, and recognition celebrations, the program focuses on community, wellness, networking, and personal growth. Many of these events are designed and led by women veterans themselves, helping foster a welcoming environment where women veterans can share stories, build confidence, and strengthen their support network. Although women veterans make up a small percentage of the overall veteran population, they represent a significant and growing part of the Chicago Veterans community.

Esperanza Health Centers operate a number of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that offer comprehensive HIV medical care including rapid and conventional HIV testing as well as testing for STD/STIs. HIV Prevention services are also offered such as free condoms and oral/injectable PrEP.

Catholic Charities offers caring residential communities for seniors across Chicago and Suburban Cook County. Features across buildings include 24-hour front desk security, resident councils, activities, a community room with a kitchen, libraries, on-site laundry facilities, and monthly newsletters. Social service coordination is offered at all properties. All units are smoke-free. All rents are subsidized. Eligible households pay no more than 30% of their adjusted gross income for rent and utilities, excluding telephone.

The warming areas are available for all residents in need of safe refuge and relief from extreme cold weather. When temperatures are at 32 degrees or below - warming areas are available.

Planned Parenthood of Illinois offers services related to the testing, counseling, and treatment referrals for HIV. Rapid HIV testing can be done with a blood sample taken from a finger stick. The results are available in 10-40 minutes.

Rosenthal Family Lodge is an emergency shelter that occupies a three-story brick building and contains a recreation area, laundry facility, and study area. There is also a fenced backyard with modern play equipment and a Nature Explorer Classroom. This building has 36 beds for families and individuals. Each floor shares a common space, which includes a living and dining room, kitchen, and main office. Rosenthal is one of only 2 domestic violence shelters in the city to accept teen males. This ensures that mothers do not have to be separated from their children when leaving an abusive home.

The Safer Foundation food pantry is operated in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

The Chicago Department of Public Health offers the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program, which provides food, education, referrals, and breastfeeding support to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children under five years old. All caregivers are encouraged to apply, including dads, moms, guardians, grandparents, and foster parents. WIC clinics are where individuals can apply for and receive WIC benefits and their electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards, rather than at WIC grocery stores or WIC distribution centers, where food is distributed.

Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) which helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health. Benefits are provided on the Illinois Link Card, an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card that is accepted at most grocery stores.Additionally, IDHS offers the SNAP Employment & Training Job Placement program for those not exempt from SNAP work requirements such as Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD). Work eligible SNAP recipients can obtain intensive case management, education such as reading and writing and math instruction or enrollment in GED or ESL classes, job skills training like computer literacy, pre-employment services like career mentoring, and unsubsidized job placement with retention services.

Chicago Public Library hosts City of Chicago EZ Pay Stations where residents can pay bills related to Administration Notice of Ordinance Violations, parking/speeding/red-light tickets, permits and taxes, and utilities. EZ Pay Stations are self-service only. CPL does not support or maintain EZ Pay Stations.

Chicago Public Library offers technology tutors across various branches in the city. CyberNavigators offer patrons one-on-one sessions, which are available by appointment and last up to an hour. CyberNavigators can help build skills in computer basics, email, internet basics, document creation, accessing digital content, and more.
