Care For Friends partners with ShowerUp every Thursday between 10:00am and 12:00pm, weather permitting, to provide guests with access to a clean, private hot water shower for up to 30 minutes. Guests receive a towel and fresh undergarments.

SLAP'D (Surviving Life After A Parent Dies) exists as a social media site for teens 13 and older (or younger than 13 with adult supervision) who have lost a parent to find hope and connection through shared experiences and aims to ensure that no teen ever has to experience their grief alone.

They also offer DUI Programs and Continuing Care for individuals who have successfully completed substance abuse treatment and seek additional support. The Recovery Support Services program assigns a mentor with personal recovery experience to guide participants in establishing a strong foundation for recovery and healing.

This food pantry is operated in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Diapers are also available to anyone during food pantry hours with proof of ID and separate proof of address (utility bill, etc.). Diaper supplies are replenished once a month.
