Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois delivers meals to older adults, individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, Veterans, and others unable to prepare their own food. They provide short-term services to help during a medical situation like recovering after surgery, or long-term services to support a healthy life.They also provide free dog and cat food on a monthly basis to more than 450 pets owned by clients. Pets get the food they need and clients, many of whom are socially isolated, benefit from interaction with pet-loving volunteers. Additionally, cat litter, new or gently used collars, leashes, bedding, toys, scratching posts, etc. may also be available while supplies last.

Health Promotion and Navigation promotes health and wellness by providing educational workshops year-round and assisting with screenings, referrals, navigation, interpretation, and transportation.
