A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)provides a more intensive treatment than an IOP. PHP offers a higher level of support and structure than IOP. In addition to the 20 hours a week of group work this program requires, PHP will require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support person therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
