Provides comprehensive services including, shelter, legal advocacy, crisis counseling, safety and escape planning, support groups as available, and other needs as they arise.

Provides substance abuse evaluations and then referral to treatment appropriate to the client's needs.

Offers Adult Outpatient Treatment support groups that meet weekly, and Extended Adult Outpatient Treatment that meet three times a week for two hours per session for eight weeks and is followed by an individual aftercare group. The program consists of a combination of education, group, and individual sessions. AA and/or NA attendance is necessary in addition to the treatment hours. Individual sessions are provided as part of Aftercare planning and based on the individual's need. Aftercare Services provides structured group therapy on a weekly basis for individuals that have completed treatment with any agency. The focus of this group is recovery issues. Discover Program is an early intervention modality for adolescents who are or have the potential for developing an abuse pattern of chemical use and have issues such as self esteem, decision making, peer pressure, and help with communication skills. DUI Assessments are completed to determine an individual's educational and treatment needs. DUI Remedial Education class educates clients on the effects of alcohol/drugs, including the physical effects, the disease concept of alcoholism, DUI laws, and alcoholism as a family disease; meets on four consecutive Monday evenings.

Assists with one-time need, which may include food, shelter, etc.  

Provides volunteer drivers in to Story County residents with transportation to and from medical appointments and other essential services. Although not exclusive, our priority is serving Story County’s older adult population.

Tax preparation is offered free to low and moderate income individuals. Available during tax season.

The taxpayer, and spouse if filing together, must attend the appointment. No children, other relatives, or friends.

Tax preparation is provided by trained volunteers.

Offers trained volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children involved in the child welfare system. Volunteers advocate with the court to ensure each child's voice is heard, their needs are met, and they have a safe, permanent home.

Offers a weekly discussion on cultivating calm and building resilience. Series runs for 6 weeks and is offered in a hybrid setting; joing in person at the Y or virtually over zoom. Sessions end with guided meditation.

Assists all refugees; provides programs for ESL, transportation, cultural orientation, and employment. Helps refugees learn to live and work in the United States.

Offers library services to the Corydon community. Services include books, audiobooks, DVDs, public internet access, programs for children and adults, and a genealogy collection. We also have a digital library with hoopla and ebooks and audiobooks through Libby. We have regular programs for adults and children as well.

Provides integrated behavioral health services to individuals with traditional mental health needs. Those involved in integrated care internally have access to a multi-dimensional care team to help address various health care needs. Services include behavioral therapy, counseling, and medication services and management.

Provides a Child Support Recovery Unit program to assist (both public assistance and non-public assistance) families with child support recovery.

Health and safety inspections of child care centers.

Investigates complaints regarding health or sanitation issues in child care centers.

Health and safety trainings to child care staff and provides child care health consultation services to local child care centers.

Provides comprehensive and general dentistry to all ages, including preventative exams, x-rays and cleanings. Comprehensive services include fillings, extractions, crowns periodontal care, root canals (evaluated on a case-by-case basis), and dentures. Provides emergency treatment on a walk-in basis. Bilingual dental staff in Spanish.
