In addition to providing food, clothing, and other personal care necessities to anyone who requests them, staff additionally provides outreach assistance, including:
- Serving as a homeless warming center on especially cold winter days and a cooling center on very hot/humid days.
- Providing the homeless with bags of ice to help them cool off, personally, as well as to help keep fresh any food items they may have.
- SSVP Omaha staff visit homeless neighbors in their camps, providing essentials like food, water, blankets, and fuel. They also help connect them to critical services, such as medical care and housing.
Provides family friendly meals, served to go, outside of the building.
Provides the following for individuals experiencing homelessness in the area: meals, toiletries, first aid, clothing, winter coats, blankets, and information on community resources.

Volunteers provide a weekly meal to those in need; meals are sponsored by area Christian churches and Individual groups. Carry out meals and indoor dining offered. Use Lincoln Street entrance to the church, doors open at 5 pm. Wheelchair accessible.

Drive-thru food pantry the third Thursday 1 pm-3 pm.
