American Red Cross - The Rauner Center runs the Home Fire Preparedness Campaign, which aims to reduce the number of home fire deaths. The Red Cross is focusing the efforts of its coalition of organizations on installing smoke alarms in homes in some of the most fire-affected neighborhoods around the country. They are working with fire departments and community groups nationwide to canvass neighborhoods with home fire safety information, install smoke alarms and deliver fire prevention information in neighborhoods with high numbers of home fires. Interested individuals can contact the American Red Cross to have a smoke detector installed in their home.

ACCESS Community Health Network (ACHN) operates a number of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that provide reproductive healthcare services including: STI testing, birth control and emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, condoms, HPV vaccines, and cancer screenings.

PrimeCare Health Community Health Centers are Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) that believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality health care. At PrimeCare Health, no one will be denied services because of their insurance status or inability to pay. If you have insurance, they can help you understand it and use it. For patients who are uninsured or underinsured, they offer a sliding scale fee based on income and family size. If you are unsure if you qualify for the sliding fee discount scale, their Access and Enrollment Specialists can help. They can also answer questions about Medicare and Medicaid.

Metropolitan Asian Family Services (MAFS) provides nutritionally balanced lunches along with an opportunity for seniors to make friends and socialize to break free from isolation. These meals are freshly prepared by trained cooks under strict hygienic conditions. Meals are available for delivery to participants as well.

Individuals or households can receive assistance for professional optical services, an eye exam, and/or eyeglasses to correct a vision impairment.

Pregnancy tests are urine tests. They do not offer blood pregnancy tests. If you choose to continue a pregnancy, they will provide you with a list of resources to help you obtain prenatal care.
