Offers MEDICAID (Medical Assistance) to people who are low income and aged (65 and older), disabled (including blindness), women needing treatment for cancer or pre-cancerous conditions of breast or cervix (who have been screened and diagnosed through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program and who do not have credible health insurance coverage), children under 21 years of age, pregnant women, parents or other caretaker relatives of children under age 18 (or under age 19 if they are attending secondary school and are expected to graduate before age 19). Medicaid will pay the costs of Health care, Dental care, In-home health care, Nursing facility care or Residential facility care.
Offers birth control and pregnancy testing. Individuals age 12 and older may seek services without the permission of an adult.

Services include books (including eBooks), audiobooks, movies, music, periodicals, games, toys, musical instruments, technological devices for checkout, programs and activities for individuals of all ages, computers with internet and word processing, fax machines, copiers, interlibrary loan and home delivery, walkers and assistive technology for in-library use.
Offers free support groups to help individuals cope with life's many challenges. Support groups offered include bariatric support group which is a center for weight management, cancer support group offers encouragement and compassion for all cancer survivors, caregivers support group offers support for someone diagnosed with Alzheimer's or other chronic disease, grief support group provides emotional support for someone dealing with a loss, and Parkinson's support group for individuals with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers.
Provides baby/child car seat checks to make sure the car seats are in working order and installed correctly. Those who qualify may be receive a free car seat

Provides 24-hour home health services for individuals in need. Services include on-call nurse support, arrangement of equipment for use in the home, assessment of medical conditions. blood draws, communication with healthcare providers, disease management and education, evaluations, management of medical supplies, medication management, ostomy care and teaching, review of insurance benefits and filing of claims, safety home evaluation, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
Housing program which provides stable housing and essential support services for people with serious mental illness.
Services begin with a screening to help get people of all ages to the right treatment. May follow with individual therapy that leads to group therapy, or crisis care that leads to stable housing.

Provides assistance to individuals and families in Clay County who need help with rent, utility bills, and burial services.
The program is designed to provide short-term emergency assistance to persons who are experiencing a financial crisis and are unable to be supported by their own means, relatives, or other public and private sources and cannot obtain assistance from any other source. Not intended to provide on-going, long term aid to any individual or family. Must meet current income and resource guidelines to be eligible for assistance.
