Provides placement for children with specialized needs in foster care. "Specialized" refers to children with medical, emotional, behavioral or mental health needs. Also refers to special groups such as adolescents and LGBTQ youth. Provides licensing for adults to foster or adopt children with specialized needs.

Provides monthly financial assistance for eligible residents of Moraine Township. Provides up to $750 per month for basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, and food. Individuals must be unemployed and actively seeking employment, or awaiting a decision on a social security disability claim.

Serves as health center with variety of outpatient services. Provides Pediatric Services, Women's Health Services, Primary Care Services, and Dental Services. Pediatric Health Services: Provides complete care to children from birth to age 18. Services include: developmental assessments, hearing and dental screening, basic vision testing, immunizations, and lead testing. Women's Health Services: Provides a wide range of outpatient comprehensive services for women of all ages. Services include counseling, prenatal, and gynecological care. Primary Care Services: Offers a broad spectrum of personal and community services directed at individuals and families of all races, genders and ages who are unable to access the private medical sector. Dental Care Services: Provides primary dental care for children and adults, including: Dental Exams, Cleaning, Dentures, Digital X-rays, Fillings, Simple Extractions, Dental Sealants, Referrals to Orthodontics and Specialty Care, WIC Client Dental Screenings, School Dental Screenings, and Care for Pregnant Patients. (Payment for specialty care will be the responsibility of the patient.

Provides free legal aid to assist with criminal record expungement and sealing. Helps with other legal matters that remove barriers to employment, education, and housing.

LiHeap Program: Provides CEDA utility payment assistance to income eligible households based on income from the last 30 days. Weatherization Program: Provides improvements that make buildings more energy efficient, lowering energy bills in the long run. Improvements may offer:

• Sealing drafty areas
• Insulating attics, walls, basements, and crawl spaces
• Repairing or Replacing heating systems
• Enhancing indoor air quality and ventilation

Provides bus transportation service via: Shared-ride service Curb-to-curb service (drivers cannot escort riders outside of the vehicle or carry packages)

Provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, medical expenses, and other immediate needs. Meets the client in their home and conducts a needs assessment. Provides referrals for community resources to support long-term sufficiency. NOTE: Saint Vincent de Paul provides general assistance services throughout Lake County. Individuals who do not meet residency requirements for this location will be referred to their nearest site.

Provides assistance once a year to put towards past due electric bills.

Offers one-time financial assistance for rent or mortgage for Lake County residents. Clients may receive up to one month of rental assistance, once per year. Does NOT help with the following circumstances:

• Eviction notices
• Security deposits
• Individuals living in subsidized housing, low-income housing, or with a Section-8 voucher

Grants wishes to children with a critical illness, progressive, degenerative, or malignant condition.

Provides public defender services for clients unable to afford legal services. Offers legal representation for clients charged with a misdemeanor or felony.
