Some popular projects include etching a charcuterie board or wine glass using the laser cutter, customizing a mug using the sublimation printer, customizing t-shirts using heat transfer vinyl and the Cricut, and submitting designs for 3D printing. The Makery offers a variety of classes to the community as well.

The Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention program provides case management and education to pregnant and new mothers who are hepatitis B-positive. CCDPH works with hospitals, healthcare providers, and laboratories to ensure that infants exposed to hepatitis B are identified and receive timely treatment, vaccinations, and tests to prevent Hepatitis B transmission.

Family Service of Glencoe offers grade-level-based parent discussion groups to encourage positive conversations around social-emotional issues.

They also provide opportunities for friendly companionship, monthly social gatherings, and home grocery delivery.

Interfaith Housing Development Corporation offers housing options for kinship caregivers.
