Angel of God Resource Center, Inc. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (W.I.O.A.) is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. W.I.O.A. brings together, in strategic coordination, the core programs of Federal investment in skill development, employment, and training services for adults, dislocated workers, and youth. The Wagner-Peyser employment services, administered by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), grants to states, adult education and family literacy programs, as well as State Vocational Rehabilitation Service programs to assist eligible individuals with disabilities in obtaining employment. Both core programs are administered by the U.S. Department of Education (ED).

Universal Family Connection's SNAP Program offers opportunities to gain experience in customer service and earn cash assistance. Each participant is required to take a 5-day customer service training upon entering the program. Participants of this program are provided transportation, special clothing, and access to a job bank with current employment opportunities.

The CFHC Hypertension Program offers home monitoring for patients with chronic hypertension. Patients receive free blood pressure monitors to encourage them to regularly check their blood pressure at home. Chicago Public Library - Hall Branch assists individuals with finding job openings or placement with an employer. Employment and career development events focus on job readiness, job skills, and resume help.

OAI Chicago - Southland offers general workforce training programs.

Rogers provides leading, specialized treatment for adults struggling with mental health issues and addiction at the same time. To effectively treat this, it's critical to identify and treat mental health issues such as OCD and anxiety, or depression and other mood disorders, along with the addiction. Their outpatient care uses an evidence-based approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), twelve-step facilitation (TSF) therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET).

The Resurrection Project (TRP) - Strengthen Families Through Domestic Violence Counseling (HOPE) provides counseling services to adolescents aged 12-18 impacted by domestic violence.

Leyden Family Services' Start Here Addiction Rehabilitation & Education (SHARE) program is their not-for-profit alcohol and drug detox rehabilitation facility located in Hoffman Estates. Services include Medically Monitored Detox, Residential Rehabilitation, Mental Illness/Substance Abuse (MISA), Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Substance Abuse Aftercare, and Outpatient Gambling Services. Clients are referred from families, friends, employers, social service agencies, physicians and hospitals.

Thrive Counseling Center operates a 24/7 crisis-intervention hotline. They have Master's level clinicians that work closely with local law enforcement to respond on-site within the Oak Park and River Forest community. All client records are kept in accordance with Illinois confidentiality requirements.
